Surcharges continued to fall in Europe when announced by the Finnish stainless steel producer Outokumpu for December delivery. With Nickel prices continuing to decline, the surcharges are at their lowest for 20 months.
Prices were expected to increase late 2011 but this is not expected until January 2012 when mills including Acerinox are expected to increase prices.
